LAWW can fix that.

Don't need a new case.

Probably I'd suggest a trade.

Get LAWW to take them all down to same as that one ... boom, 2021 Submariner! I have seen some pre-release pics that show thinned lugs.

Since you just discovered it, I'd recommend sitting with it for a few days or weeks and then re-evaluating how much it matters to you at that point. Good luck.

I don't see it at all. Looks fine to me. I'd wear it and enjoy it. I'm pretty OCD about scratches on a crystal but the case looks normal to me. And I don't see the underside of the case of my watches much at all. Of course I'm not a collector so a lot of the nuances of watches go zooming over my head. They make a pleasing "whoosh" as they go by too. :)

This or rolliworks. They can probably laser weld that lug plus polish for $250-450 ish...

I think crown side mugs are the thinner ones. I think...pretty sure.

Wonder what sort of Dremmel bit was used to take off that much material.

Oof... BUT have LAWW or rolliworks polish the rest and even those out and you'll have what everyone is drooling about (2021 sub)

Easily repairable with laser weld and there the lug can be reshaped like new. Laww and rollieworks as few mentioned are top notch on case restoration. Highly recommend them if you want to go that route.

This does not looks like ever-polishing to me, I would call it lug-chopping :-(
My God, this work must have been performed by someone with serious eyesight problems.

I'm ocd... That would bug me. Another reason why the wait at AD bugs me less than some. I'm happy to wait to get what I want mew and then ding it myself

Have someone polish the other three lugs down to match. It’ll look great!

That's pretty bad. Either return it if you can, or have it repaired (I've seen the case repair work that LAWW can do). Service case not ideal for the reasons already stated above. Obviously for a repair you would need to send it to LAWW in the US (Pasadena), but no doubt this could be done without too much hassle and would be less expensive than the RSC/service case route.

It’s ok, enjoy it and don’t polish it for the next decade. Once you decide to do so, make sure you take it to an expert that will take off more from the other lugs to mage them equal width
