Gronefeld Principia? 10.5mm thickness and lots of options, but expensive (steel starts from ~$35k)

15202st has no contest in this category. You could look for 5167a or 5711 (different price level). Or 16700 GMT which is one of the thinnest Rolex

Thin steel sports watches
There really is so many choices. However, resale value on most models is difficult to predict outside of a few blessed brands. If that’s your guiding light your decision will lead to anxious decision making. As most purchases may. Without trying everything you want on you may just want a return policy so you can check them out.
I own a Piaget polo s ![]() ![]() Above a wrist shot of it’s thickness of +/-10mm. My wrist is 160mm so kinda small. Also I have on Oder a Czepak. Due November or December. It will also be around 10mm thick with a 40.5 diameter case. Here’s a photo of what’s coming. ![]() I think if your not in a rush plenty more choices will come in 2021 I bet. Good hunting! |

Give some consideration to the JLC Geophysic 1958. Limited edition, but probably find one on the secondary market.
100m water resistance, robust, beautiful, and can be your only watch. I wear mine daily. Here it is on a bracelet ![]() Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

https://www.chopard.com/us/l-u-c-xp-...bel-additional The difference in thickness between the two movements would put the watch at 8.05MM thick...which would be just lovely! |

This just says it all. The attention to detail in the AE is top rate (probably only second to the nautilus) and the dial is actually innovative. A very underrated watch in all honesty. Whilst the Czapek probably has the better movement, the dial is quite honestly plain. |

The bracelet on that Chopard looks really huge/thick. Even at the smaller size.

How about Lange Odysseus at 11.1mm?
Or if you don't care that it has to be an expensive watch I love my Tissot PRX at 10.9mm I mean if you really need to get down towards like 8mm and want a famous brand watch. Go and build a relationship with a VC dealer quickly in anticipation of the 222 in steel that should come later this year (or perhaps next year), it comes in just below 8mm. |
