Wow, so many questions!! But hey I'm excited for you, pal. Glad the whole thing worked out so well.

One more question: Does the non-SEL Fliplock bracelet have 5 FULL links on the '6' side?

Cheers - JJ
Yes, 7 links off of the 12 and 4 1/2 off of the 6 The bracelet is in the 3rd hole on the clasp and it does sit dead center The AD threw it in for free, the first thing I ever got for free from an AD aside from a business card
The non-sel only has 4 1/2 links on the 6 side. I asked if they altered it to make it fit, they told me it now comes that way.

Thanks again, pal. that was a good tip, it really does fit perfectly now

Thanks for that, pal. Glad it worked out fine. It seems the new non-SEL bracelet has now come down to 4½ links. Formerly, it used to have 5 full links on the '6' side. Wonder what the reason is for changing that? Well, I suppose the SEL bracelet (SS as well as TT) also has 4½ links and Rolex is trying to maintain some kind of consistency with their FLIPLOCK line.

That is absolutely awesome of her. I think you might have left a little hint or two along the way as to which model you would like
It's all good. Now, stop smiling so much

Thats the best part of it, John. I didn't drop one hint, aside from telling her I was looking for a used one As hard as I try, I just can't pry this smile off of my face. I love this watch

Congrats:

The 14060m is my favorite Rolex sports model. I had an SD that I loved but sat a tad too high off of my wrist. The sub is "just right."

Craig, sorry I missed this. Congrats on a great piece. Can you send your wife out on a speaking tour so other wives can learn from her wisdom?
