DD40 on the president bracelet has smaller links than the GMT on oyster, but I'm not sure if/how this effects the fit. Also, compare the case depth and thickness and lug-to-lug size of a GMT with that of a DD40. I'm not sure what those measurements are but they certainly effect the fit. I really wish Rolex made a DD40 with oyster bracelet.

I have a 6.5" wrist currently wear a DD36 but may at some point go with the DD40. Never tried it on so don't know the look yet.

will be fine, I have 5.75 wrist and wear YM 116622 with 40 MM and that is the max I am willing to go.
