Thank you all for the nice comments! All of the pics and feedback that many of you have shared on here over the last few years are what allowed me to make a good decision without having ever seen this dial configuration in person. Very happy with this one!

What an absolute banger!! Huge congrats and if I saw this in person I would one million percent walk up to the person wearing it and strike up a conversation. Do you mind me asking wait time for this piece? I know it fluctuates based on spend history & AD relationship. A co worker has his eye on this one and I’d like to report back to him any info about it from this forum.

Also, I don’t wear brown at all. Part of the reason I’d waiting so long to pull the trigger. My wife thought I was nuts to buy a watch with brown on it. But it’s a good combo, changes shade with lighting, and tones it down compared to SS white dial with black bezel. I love it so far.

Huge congratulations

To be honest, I miss my platona and it took me awhile to get the courage to buy it and to then realize how stunningly great the chestnut brown and ice blue work together. I was a skeptic initially as well

It was just the weight for me that bothered me because I had to wear the watch tighter on the wrist to avoid it slipping down and the crown denting the top of my hand!

In any case it looks great on you, enjoy in the best of health!

Thanks! The brown was the biggest thing holding me back. But now I see how it just works and is less jarring than a black bezel would be. The weight isn’t noticeable for me, as have a flat wrist so sits nicely with same sizing as SS, 6 links on 12 side and 4 on 6 side. Doesn’t move at all. Plus I’m a lefty so added benefit that crown won’t dig into my wrist.

Grey. On list for new one from AD, but realized don’t really prefer the new one over outgoing model, so will let that go when get the call.
