There are lots of bad beers. The collective name for them, is lager!

A good lager is a thing of beauty, a bad one still takes the edge of this mean ol' world... Hence, no such thing as a bad beer!

I had a Leinenkugel's Big Eddy Russian Imperial Stout last night, a little over 9% ABV. I wouldn't call it my favorite but worth a taste if you enjoy heavy stouts and porters.

One favorite is hard.....I tend to like hoppy (bitter) beers. I really like sam adams, sierra neveda and shipyard breweries. right now I am drinking a sierra neveda glissade. which is a nice mellow golden boch. But if I had to pick I would go with a nice IPA! to all you drunks

If any of you get the chance next fall try a Woodstock Inn and Brewery. Autumn Ale Brew. It is an apple spice beer.....which I know sounds horrible and should be but for some reason is really good Shipyard brews and bottles it for sale. I think Woodstock does brew it at the inn for local consumption.

I love Franzi!

Number one for me is Guinness, preferably in a pub.

At this moment drinking a Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA.

Edit: Now have opened a Guinness, with another one ready to go beside it.

Definitely nothing wrong with how the Canadians does things... I've even lived there , but I prefer my Sapporo's to be 100% made in Nippon.

Cheers,
Joe

Kozel!! A man who knows his stuff....

I was trying to keep it at a level that maybe most have heard of, but, if we're going to explore the "true" favorites, then, here you go:
