I purchased one last September by walking into an AD who had one in their case and got 10% off list. Things are beginning to change however, and discounts are not going to be as easy to get anymore on Daytonas as well as getting the Daytona itself. I have heard from a couple AD's in the US that Rolex is cutting way back on allocating Daytonas this year. This probably explains the uptick in pricing on the TRF over the past month or so. 2010 could be an interesting year for the SS Daytona.

This supports the notion that there is no longer a wait list - rather an "interested buyers" list whom they can call on anytime depending on stock - first come first served...
What goldsmiths, somebody said this before and the dealer in question when i called them said no such thing.

from my understanding there is still a wait time for this watch, or possibly first come first served

Here in San Diego, I was offered twice at Royal Maui and once at Ben Bridge,
I end up buying one at Ben Bridge since I had bought my first rolex at their store.

Which Ben Bridge Robert? I got mine in UTC, waited about... 8 Months for it. Of course, this was in 07 and 08, when they were next to impossible...

my white v series listed @9,925.00. i waited 5 years and my ad called at 7:30pm on a saturday night. they caught the guy in front of me on the list by surprise, he said i will have to talk to my wife about the money. they waited on his return call for 2 hours and called me. i bought it over the phone and picked it up the next morning. it was the second one they had received in 5 years. my only other ad said they hadn't received one in 3 years.
