Whenever I read this thread title, I think of "porn stars" in a slow, southern draaawl.

Chumlee bought a stolen rolex........cop showed up to check it, because it matched a description....opens the clasp and says "yep, this is the one." Or something to that regard....it's been a little while since I saw it myself.

I LOVE this show. It is a riot and they do get some really cool historical stuff in there. Loads of Rolexes too.

Love the show I watched the Marathon the other day. Most of the guys all have Rolex Subs and I remember seeing the episode with the GMT Master getting buffed and sold for like $5,000? I DVR the show too!

The thing I noticed about all of them is they need to pass up the all you can eat buffet
at the casino's more.
All of them look like they went back in line for cheese cake ...and took the whole cake and ate it.

It's a bit cheesy and staged but I have to admit to having watched them all.

I watch the show purely for the entertainment value and variety of stuff that walks in the door. However, I'm disappointed with them often as some of the pieces belong in museums ...

I watch it, and I hate that I do. The things that I hate about it, make me watch it more. The dialogues between the main characters are completely staged, and the show just shows you how they screw people.

I get the pawn thing, I want a loan, here's collateral, I'll pay you back, if not you keep it. You're not looking for full value of the item. But if you go in there trying to sell something, jeeze, you get taken for a bath....well it's worth $6k I'll give you $1100...oh $1115...see i upped the price for you. Might as well post it on Ebay. And C'mon, do you really want THEIR friends or business associates appraising your stuff. Unless you're REAL hard up for cash and need it immediately it's a lose-lose situation.

I use to like the show, but the people started to bother me on it when they played a joke on the old guy when he thinks they sold his car.

Hijinks. Hijacks. Whatever happens along, Rafael!

And BTW, you're pretty good at the hijacking yourself, my friend.
