I would have to agree with you, too many children with silly posts. TRF is turning into a teenage chat room.

There used to be so much friendly banter on here, in the "open discussion" forum. But then there became this trend of one-upping, and it all just got ugly. In reading back, there's even snippy comments on the razor blade thread"

It's become such a popularity contest around here now - cliques and all. Threads and posts should be about topics and not about members. and this post will get you ...

I know how you feel Gaby. Good luck with the studies, there's plenty of WIS time left after what matters most.

Even though I don't plan on leaving just yet, I have to say the negativity that has gone on since I joined the forum has increased, and many of our great members have left for a reason...

Sounds like you like to instigate things...is it really necessary?

I would have to agree with JButler. The poster just wants attention and to have others beg him to stay.

It's kinda sad when the most mature posts come from a High School kid.
I really admire you Kyle, you're a good kid.

Hopefully after a cool-down period, she'll reconsider. In her case, as with you and Kyle, I have been very much favorably impressed by the level of maturity and insight demonstrated by the younger members here.

This thread is going nowhere.

As an aside.

Yesterday my 14060M came back from Rolex Australia all fixed.
It was a small problem with the winding mechanism.
They sent in back by courier no charge for the fix or the courier.

I bought this one a few years back from a Forum member in the States and Rolex had no reason to fix this under warranty.

How good was that.
