Yep - 39 years old and still enjoy it but have less time than before 2 kids and marriage. We grew up with Atari, PC games, etc., so it makes sense our generation is still playing. We toughed it out playing Combat and the never ending Pitfall games, we deserve to play these amazing games coming out now!
I never got into the MMO world for some reason - mostly because I think I never had the PC for them and now I have a Mac. I did try Ultima Online way back and tried a free demo of WOW but just never caught on for me. I do like RPGs though and I go back aways with some of my favorites: Wizardry, Zork (not RPG but), Baldur's Gate (Boo), the Elder Scrolls series. I played Oblivion on 360 forever (and still do). Waiting for the next great one to come out. Also college football and first person shooters - looking forward to COD Black Ops.

I think I owned every system there was ever since I was a child. All I have now is the Wii console which I play with my wife every once in a while. That's about it.
My suggestion is to get New Super Mario Bros Wii. Best fifty bucks spent on a game that lasts hours and hours that's enjoyable up to all ages.

I travel allot but I am 29 and when I am home and the kids go to bed it's just me and my Xbox360. I have not played Fallout but everyone raves about it. I am currently finishing Assassins Creed 2, great game. I am currently in India and I just ordered Fable 3 and Dead space I thought I would try them out.
Looks like Kinect is coming home for Christmas I think it will be neat to try out. Happy gameing. (oh I do were my Submariner when I play and every other time I am awake) |

Speaking of video games, have you seen the new commercials for some of these games? Hollywood production values! The new Black Ops comes to mind.
Heck, even Jeep is getting in on the act with a Black Ops edition 2011 Jeep : http://www.conceptcarz.com/z18970/Je...s-Edition.aspx I think it's a neat concept. There was a "Tomb Raider" special edition Jeep a few years ago (~2003 I think). Not sure I'd get one, but I think the concept is neat. |

i like to collect/restore arcade machines. i have a passion for the older "quick fix" games of the 80's and 90's- and the very best of those were the arcade games themselves.
at present, i have 3 machines in the house, these are the 2 in my office.. ..i interfaced the driving cabinet with the PS3 and a PC, showing here playing outrun2 on ps3. all the controls have been hacked into a logitech steering wheel that is compatible with ps3 and pc- using original arcade components- so it has the huge force feedback motor, steering wheel, shifter and pedals from the original sega cabinet! it play sega rally and daytona and every other arcade game, all from the pc. the other machine, is generic jamma cabinet/arcade machine, i full restored, interfaced with a pc full of every 8 bit and 16 bit console games and every arcade game every created!.. around 40,000 games, all on the pc. i have used the original 15khz arcade monitor so these old games look 1:1 perfect. i do however, get more pleasure from restoring these cabinets and transforming them into something special, than i do from playing the games! old games are best! cheers |
