I had a feeling most of us would prefer a pianted dial that looks more vintage and Panerai lovers do prefer vintage looks |

On polished stainless steel lumis definitely PAINTED dials as the numbers and markers are more dominant and represent a perfect counterpole to the polished case.
With titanium case lumis it´s a bit different and I like the sandwich dial better - the same for radis. |

We don't need no stinkin' sausages- SANDWICH all the way!!
I wouldn't let a sausage dial stop me, but given the choice a sandwich dial adds a very interesting subsurface dimension to the view of the dial which I find most compelling. |
