However, it seems to me, the Explorer actually has a different white dial than the Pan Am, and, If I remember correctly, I like the Explorer better.

The real significance of the Pan Am, to me, involves the story; and not the white dial.
The white dial just identifies it as a Pan Am (and it looks very nice).

Talk about an old thread -- I found this one searching for a pepsi/explorer dial project. Seems fitting to resurrect, with the new 116719 BLRO release.

What are the opinions of a white faced GMT ?
