Adding a little to what Mailman said: BOTH are better looking in person, that platinum dial is absolutely fantastic under bright light! However, my vote goes to Bluesy, he's definitely got the edge. The most gorgeous watch dial I've ever seen, and JJ, your photos come very, very close to conveying its beauty. Richard's shot captures the SS/18K bling 'n blue as well! Here's my first try (Rawhyde's watch), the lighting is difficult to get just right, but some of the dial's pattern got through.

I voted for the YM. Being color blind I like the monochromatic aspects of the YM. And the platinum bezel is a big plus.
Blusey is a great example of Rolex and would be nice to have in any collection but a bit too blingy for everyday. Just MHO. dP

Both are beautiful watches, JJ. Now if they would just make them 36 MM you'd have something!

I believe this is an unfair competition because one is TT & the other is SS. Therefore Platty is an underdog and I'm always fond of underdog. The TT Bluesy should vs w/ TT GMT II C. OR TT RG TOG black dial w/ jubilee can compete right up w/ TT Bluesy on the condition that Sub owners are not allowed to vote. Gorgeous pictures and I almost bought the TT Bluesy because of your picture. Take care. |
