Dan, I'm kind of liking your GMT II on the Jubilee... especially the black bezeled version. Takes the sporty appeal and pulls it a bit towards the classy side. Franken though it may be, nice...

Thanks Pat! The jubilee vs. oyster bracelet makes a big difference. But why a franken? It's a Rolex option with the GMT. The bezel inserts and bracelet options make the GMT unique to the sport model line.

Never underestimate the power of ignorance... I've never seen the GMT II offered up w/the Jubilee bracelet in all my viewings at AD's, etc. I didn't know it was a factory option. Never too late to teach an old dog new tricks I guess. Regardless, it definitely changes the overall look and, like multiple bezels, adds versatility to an already great timepiece. So for the record, I officially retract the 'Franken' statement...

You better! Learning is the best part of TRF! Btw, in this case it's an old dog teaching other old dogs new tricks.

Warning to the purists - this post contains an early Daytona on a nylon strap. If this will distress you, it may be best if you to skip over this message.

My first post with my first Rolex; a late 60's Air-King Date I picked up this morning.
