It was A funny episode. They ended up in jail for watching someone getting robbed and not doing anything.

Ha - believe me I would help someone if I could. These pick pocketers in Chile are pretty nifty, I have sat at a bar in Santiago countless times and all of a sudden out of the blue see some guy pegging it down the street with police in tow (which is usually a handbag, wallet or shop theft) normally evading police by running across a road with heavy fast traffic or jumping on a bike.
My mate got marched to a cashpoint last time in Santiago with a knife held at his back to withdraw cash, cops don't give a shit I've travelled a fair bit around the world, US, Asia, Europe but in Latin America you really have to be pretty streetwise, there are scams literally everywhere |

I have been complimented on my sub in Miami and France (while returning a rental car), but Ido think it's a low profile watch. Saludos

What about the LV (Hulk)
Imagine that stands out a hell of a lot compared to the black sub |

I've wearing my Sub C most days, never had a single comment.
Wore my Seamaster (Bond style) and was asked by a barman if it was a Rolex - go figure but I guess because of the flashy standout bracelet |

I prefer people to take notice and not say anything. I don't care for the attention.
Flashy watch or not, the only attention I'd care for is from is fellow WIS. For the record, I have only received compliments on my watches from friends. Never from complete strangers. Like it that way! |

Funny thing I've noticed:
I am the only person in my group of friends with "expensive" watches... I have noticed that when I go out and have my GMT/SD whatever on my wrist, and my buddy will have a "designer watch" that looks flashy but is only worth maybe a few hundred $$$, that those designer watches will always be noticed and fetch tons of compliments while my Rolex goes completely under the radar/ unnoticed... And thats the way I like it!

One friend pointed it out during a house poker game. He commented that it was too expensive at the AD in the VIs. My uncle gave it the nod. My Lil brother asked for it. Thats about it, people I don't know just stare likely thinking its a fake probably.

All my daily wear watches are patek philippe, however when I want to attempt to have people notice my watch I wear my rolex steel submariner.
