Sometimes it's just one SS.

In today's current economical state, I find it difficult enough wearing a ss Rolex, never mind an all gold one! Although I do love them!

Depends, if you already have 3 SS, then I suppose 1 YG, if you have 1 YG then 3 SS sounds good, but if you already have 3SS &1YG....? maybe some TT.?
It's individual preference, get what makes YOU happy

Well, if the 3 SS models are all variants of a Sub, then go for 1 All Gold hands down

If the 3 SS are spread across more than just divers and GMTs, then to with the 3 SS's

If any of the watches not owned are a Grail, then the Grail Prevails !

Definitely all gold!!! You can pick up a decent non-quickset President for around $6k. If you some $ left-over, then buy an older DJ with a thunderbird bezel!

I flipped a white dial 116264, 116610LN, and a polar 216570 for my 116619. I couldn't be any happier with the smurf, but I did buy 3 stainless steel models since getting it, so take that as you will.

There are people on this forum with just one gold watch. There are also people with multiple SS watches who could sell them and get gold so it's clear there's no right answer.

For me it would be 3 SS all the way. In fact it would be 3 SS even if the choice was 2 or 3 gold. I can live without gold but not without a decent SS watch.

I'd need at least one SS.

In this forum, I'm surprised 3 gold and 3 SS isn't an option.

i think i have to go one gold.

i was always flipping SS. i was never satisfied and wanted to try new ones.

got a WG DDII and there will be no more flipping. also put on my GMTC the other day and took it off within moments.

i always wanted to be a one watch guy. this just might do it.

I would have to go with 3 SS. I can't have just one watch, it's impossible for me.

I would have to have a 16710 "Pepsi", a 116610V and a 116300.
