It is sexist to say that a 40mm watch only looks good on certain (attractive/athletic) women. Do you need further explanation? Or do you need a moderator to help you understand? I see you're a new member here and perhaps you need to review the forum rules before you post any more insulting and demeaning comments.

I think that as a woman she should have her choice, if she want to wear one no one else should have a problem with it.

Perhaps you are right, point taken. I was more referring to height, not attractiveness (the woman wearing the Sub was 5' 3"), but I get your point, sorry

news flash, just my humble opinion, but I don't see you making a lot of friends on this forum with opinions like this.

Women look awesome in anything they want to wear simple as that.

100% disagree. I think sports watches look amazing on women. Case in point...

I am not very tall, and a salesman suggested a tuxedo of a certain cut looked better on me than it would on a taller man. Should I have been offended?

So what you're saying is that you are the arbiter of which woman gets to wear a man's watch. Misty May or Kerry Walsh? Is it just 6 foot tall women in bikinis who should be allowed to wear men's watches? Some would call this a fetish.

I'm glad somebody has decided to take a stand on this. When will Howard Schultz put out a memo telling non-six foot tall non-bikini wearing women to not wear their men's Rolex watches to Starbucks.

Women can wear men's watches. Men can wear dresses. Who are we decide? If you don't like how it looks, look the other way. That's what I do whenever I see Luis Suarez lace up a pair of football boots.

Depends on the size of the wrist and her overall outfit. The watch is an accessory and the ladies do know how to accessorize!

If it were a saleswomen telling you that it offended her to see a small man wearing a suit designed for a tall man you would and should feel offended.

If this saleswomen came here and started a thread along the lines of "Saw a small man in a tall man suit"...

We'd be right on her case, get the point?

That's 3 points for a block headed post.

I'm a woman with a GMT II BLNR, LVc, and a Daytona. I'm hopeful that one day I will build up enough strength in my dainty arms to be able to wear a solid gold men's sport watch.

No disrespect here... But seriously, I don't see how you interpret that as a "block headed" post? A beautiful top fashion model with a beautiful watch, how can that be wrong? I think you were reading into it a bit much. Out here in the states there's nothing sexist about appreciating the beauty of a women, and especially so if she's wearing a beautiful watch!

Apparently, Mr CLSAMG has informed me that in the USA, the above pic is neither sexist or objectifying in any way.

Any USA members care to back him up on this?

I'm listening.

Are you implying it's sexist b/c she probably didn't get equal pay of what a man might get for a similar picture?

Saying that photo is sexist would be the same as saying that every Victoria's Secret advertisement in magazines & billboards, as well as their commercials on TV are sexist, yet the FCC deemed they aren't sexist and allows them because they are done with class, as is the photo I posted.

Paul,

I don't remember seeing anyone named "CLSAMG" at the USA meetings, therefore you have my permission to give him an automic-wedgie

voyeuristic exploitation done with lace is still exploitation, don't base taste decisions or sexism on a government bureaucracy! Their choice regarding, of all things advertising?!? Your supplanting your taste, thought and decency with commerce and worst of all the U.S. goverment?
