I wouldn't put too much value on that ip address. It belongs to Cricket Wireless, so he could have posted from just about anywhere. I banned him from another watch forum also. He has that same Day-Date listing over there.

This guy just listed this 18238 on watchfreeks.com this week and on watchnet.com. It looks like the watchfreeks.com listing was deleted but he just posted this watch on watchnet.com today. I replied to his thread. If anyone knows the mods on those forums, he needs to be banned. I contacted the seller via his watchfreeks.com ad. This watchfreeks.com profile indicates he's from Canada but when corresponding via email he said he's shipping from Virginia. I confronted him about the scams and he went silent.

The watch was listed on watchnet.com by user RY199. The post has since been deleted.

It has been listed a couple of times on watchfreeks.com by user NanaimoWatchFan. That is where I saw the watch and contacted the seller using the email address he listed in the thread on watchfreeks.com. The strange thing is that NanaimoWatchFan has been a member on watchfreeks.com for quite some time with several posts and lots of feedback from good deals, nothing really bad that I can find. I don't know if his account has been hacked or what.

The email address he had listed in the thread was wishilosbro@yahoo.com and says his name is Clyde Fogh. When I confronted him about the scam he said he is the original owner of the watch and he asked me for the links to the websites that are listing his watch. The profile for NanaimoWatchFan on watchfreeks.com says that he is in Cananda but this Clyde guy said the watch will be shipping from Virginia. He said that he can send me a photo of the watch with his name on it.

Wether these 2 different threads showing the same watch are posted by the same person, I don't know. But this watch with the same pics, same description, etc. has been listed several times over the past couple months by several different people. This sucks...Got to be careful.

When I asked him for a phone number to call him along with a tagged pic with today's date, he suspiciously went silent! I had a bad feeling when he said that he would take $4200 for the watch shipped overnight. That price was just too good to be true for the condition that he stated the watch was in.

Anyway, hope this saves someone from being scammed!

Busted out laughing as soon as I saw the first picture with him wearing a tux and smiling/posing like if he's rico suave. Lol I can't believe it. If I were to see that, I would immediately call the deal off.
