5512 would be my pick, but it is also a perfect example how polishing destroys a fine Rolex.

You're fine. I promise you, there are MILLIONS of 5513s that were made, and it is much, much better to do due diligence and even miss a great one because of your diligence, than to pick up a lemon. You'll find a 5513, or a 5512, even more desirable than the one you were eyeing.
