Mega congrats. It looks lovely, all that awesomeness in a tight 40mm package - in love.
Thanks for the pictures, we're about as excited as you. Like when a female family member gets back from the hospital with a new baby, all the women are like ooh ahh...."look! he moved his hand".

looks great!
i have wanted a deep sea for while and have tried it on twice in my AD, but is was simply too large for my taste.

so when this came along i was over the moon.

it sits very slightly higher and wants to rest slightly further forward.

in the pic, can hardly tell any difference between the gloss dial vs the matte dial, is it more distinguishable in person?

Well if it's anything like the Deepsea which seems is the case in pictures, I would say in normal conditions my Deepsea looks the same as my glossy GMT2 but get it in sunlight or bright light directly on the dial and bam, a whole different story. Matte dial is clearly noticeable.

agree.

the matt dial looks slightly 'softer'.

Congrats on the new baby.

Is the issue with the lugs not aligning with the end links very noticeable when on the wrist?

i have failed to capture the difference. May be it requires sunlight (in short supply today in england) like Rashid suggested to see it properly.
