It also helps me fill a huge void in my collection. I currently tend to baby the watches I currently have in my stable and I was in a definite need of a true workhorse timepiece. One I wouldn't mind taking to the beach or the shooting range.

Special thanks to Mr. Tony Geha, aka JustRolexes for an excellent and smooth transaction. It was a pleasure finally meeting you face to face and I look forward to working with you more in the future!

I opted to go sans date this time around. I'm on a less is more kick at the moment Without further ado...

Congrats! A great piece to own in any collection!

Looks great Chris, as others have said you can never go wrong with any variation of the Sub!

Haha, my collection is pretty small, perhaps stable was the wrong word choice I currently have a 5167, 15300, Daytona, and now the Sub, followed by a few Gshocks and a couple of other pieces I picked up in the mid 90s. Nothing special. Next in line for me is a Panerai and an IWC. Just need to wait for the right piece and deal.

Still a solid collection! To me, 3-5 is the perfect number of watches. Any more, and I don't think I could give them the proper love that they deserve.

The 15400 was traded toward my 5167. I then found a minty 15300 which fits my wrist much better. Very happy about the fit

I agree. If I were to have too many I'd take an entire day to decide what to wear. My wife wears the Daytona so I'm planning in picking up two more.
