I declared a Veteran's Day sale at a nearby AD and bought a Tudor Black Bay in burgundy on the distressed leather strap. Have been trying it on for about 3 years, pulled the trigger and loving it. My watch buddies like it, too.

How do you like the bracelet? I find it a bit of a hair puller.

Very comfortable, no pulling of hairs with mine, though happens with older Rolex.

Been bitten bad...My last four purchases have all been vintage Tudor. Couple of Big Blocks here plus a Date-Day and a blue snowflake.

Tudor has some great looking models and I respect its history, but I don't think I could own one. I don't mean that in a bad way, btw. The brand just isn't for me.

Now heres the crazy part, I owned a Tudor a few years back and it just didn't sing to me. Now there are several models I just cant stop thinking about.....

Anyone else go from Rolex to Tudor and please post pics if possible.

Oh and if you hate Tudor or would never touch them please feel free to speak your mind too Everything welcome here...I like to hear it all!
Nope.
Did consider the Ranger but when saw in person, it did NOTHING to me. Explorer on the other hand...

And it has a date function.

I love the RG Daytona on a strap, but no date is a deal killer for all Daytona for me. This is a Rolex (basically) on a strap with a true chrono and a date. Winner.

Black Bay

I was a casual lover of the Tudor line but when my friend SeanL sent me a burgundy BB on bracelet, I really fell in love! It is an awesome piece, clean and a great wear!

Going a bit OT, but at the price, does it have a competitor? There are plenty of run of the mill sports watches out there in this price zone but with the quality, heritage and style?

Tudor...

So the Heritage collection has me hooked. I bought a Black Bay with the leather strap and loved it ... Until that is, I saw the Ranger. I flipped one for the other and am quite pleased. Elegant in its simplicity, I am really enjoying the watch.

Totally bitten.
I sold all Rolex (red 6263, 5508, LV) and focus now on Tudor, only!
The grails I am lusting after are a '58 big crown and an original home plate with black speedometer bezel. You can see how nicely they would fit...
