I used to own a Breitling Avenger Seawolf .....

I used to own a Breitling Avenger Seawolf. I thought it was a well made watch and very rugged. I used it a lot and dove it a number of times. It had a beautiful domed crystal and the crown was a joy to operate. The only big complaint I had with it was the lume was pretty weak.

Agreed. The Super Avenger is a great piece for people that need to settle for an alternate to the Daytona.

If anybody in the UK is interested, I've just had a call from my AD & he's had an Avenger Skyland All Black Steel Limited Edition delivered today.

Found this pic of one, looks nice

How do you like the Super Ocean? Has it been accurate and reliable? I am thinking about getting one. Alan Furman sells the 38 mm for 1980.00. Do you think that's a good price?

Colt Ocean

For ladies, Colt Ocean is the best. Nothing is as solid as this, for a small size watch.

The Superocean has been reliable and accurate. I'm really enjoying it very much. It is also great to wear. I thought it might be too small but it looks and feels substantial but not overpowering like the larger model. Sounds like a good price; cheaper than what I bought mine for. Good luck!

I'm very happy with the Superocean Heritage 38. Its kept great time. I thought it might be too small but I really enjoy wearing it; feels and looks substantial without being over sized like the larger model. Price you quote sounds pretty good. Be aware, there is a different price for the bracelet v. the band.

I owned a Crosswind Chronograph once. Loved the look of it as well as the saucy bracelet.

But the stationary hand and the white hands on white dial camouflage drove me nuts.....so I got rid of it!!

I have a Breitling Emergency Mission. It is currently on a rubber dive strap since I brought it on a recent marlin fishing and dive trip.

Breitlings are nice watches. Try checking out the Navitimer and Cosmonaute. These two are stunning watches, IMHO.

The Breitlings tend to be too busy for my taste but I do love the Navitimer which is the busiest of all. Can't really figure that out but one is definitely on my list.

I have always loved the blue Navitimer. But it's far too large for my wrists---so I got a blue sub instead!

Shouldn't this post be moved to the Non Rolex forum?
Are you Mods sleeping?
Or am I missing something...curious as to why some get moved and others linger?

I had a Brietling for a short while, it was a great watch and my wife really loved it - probably her most favourite, because of the size, she said that it was a proper "Man's" watch
But I missed having a S/S Sub so I flipped it and my wife hasn't let me forget it
IMO they are fantastic watches
