I'm a fan of color matched date window. Unfortunately PP doesn't have that in most of their models. Therefore I went for the 5711a white dial.

I absolutely love the blue dial, but ended up going with the white dial model. To me, it looks just as great as the blue 5711, but from a different perspective (more sporty imho). Owning both blue and white wouldn't be bad - maybe someday |

Non owner here, but which wears more comfortably? I realize this varies depending on wrist shape etc, but the braclet on the AP doesn't look as comfortable. I've tried the 5711 on at our local AD and its buttery comfy....

The Jumbo of course. And also my preferred choice between the two.
BUT.... I am now tempted by this. Every month is a different watch |

The Patek is very comfortable and will fit a wider range of wrists due the case shape where the bracelet joins the case. The Patek for me is not as ideally suited to my wrist as the AP and is not quite as low of a profile. The Patek outside of perfection of fit has many other attributes I find useful over the AP.

I like both and to me both are iconic.
I love that you can get your initials on the rotor for the AP. |
