Thanks for posting those great shots. I remember once seeing a 5712a in a shop window and thought the dial looked a dull grey and thought that it was produced in a grey and blue version. Now understand that this was due to the lack of lighting Due to a typical cloudy Day in the UK

NO WAY, I had the 116515, and it wore a little bigger, I exaggerated when I said "way smaller", than the 5712 or 5711 I can guarantee you, anyways go to an AD or boutique, maybe they won't have the 1A models, but they'll at least have one 5712 in gold, white or rose, you'll see by yourself

Yes, try any one of the 5711 or 5712, wether on bracelet or on strap for the PM 5712's, I ordered my 5712 even though I had just seen the WG model, for me they're much cooler on bracelet than on strap, but I'm more of a bracelet than strap guy

Thanks bud. I traded my 5711 for the 5712. Best decision ever.

Chris those are probably 2 of the best pics I have ever seen of the 5712 and 5711, for the 5711 I'm almost sure it's the best pic I ever saw, for the 5712 one of the best for sure
I'm sure it was, I would be very happy to have both, but for me the 5712 is the coolest with it's "little" complications, I'm a sucker for moon phases, some will say "why do you need a moon phase on a sports watch?" but it's not a sports watch, it's a "sporty" dress watch, at least for me it is It's incredible, go for it, either you like the "funky" asymmetrical dial or you don't, if you do you will LOVE this watch |

These pictures really show off the dynamics of the nautilus dials, It proves that the colour of the 5711/2 dial does vary significantly depending on lighting. It can look dull In one picture but mesmerising in another.

That is a stunning picture. I am amazed at how this dial changes. I saw a blue 5711 at the recent Patek exhibition in London and thought the dial looked dull, more of a grey than a blue, but this does look very different. I guess lighting makes a significant difference.

Patek 5711/5712 blue dial
Blue is stunning, YES. And it changes colours depending on the light.

What are the views on the White dial 5711. Are there any subtle changes with the dial?

Has anyone come across any videos that demonstrate all the colour changes of the blue nautilus? Couldn't find much on Youtube

The blue dial is one of the best I've seen, goes from light/dark grey to light blue, dark blue and others, just amazing, as I've heard 10 times more dynamic than the AP RO blue dials, they are also beautiful but much more static than the 5711/12 dials, I absolutely love it, the 5711 is better color wise, in the sense that you have the whole dial, whereas the 5712 has subdials so it's different, but I prefer the 5712, when you have 1 Patek, just my 2 cents, it's nice to have at least 1 complication, plus I am a sucker for moon phases, so the choice was easy, got a 5726 also but on strap, I didn't really love it so I sold it, for me a Nautilus is made to be on a bracelet, I find outrageous that when you buy certain watches at high prices, you can't go strap to bracelet, Patek Nautiluses for example, I would love to be able from time to time to put a rubber strap on my 5712, but that's a big no way at Patek, and other brands also like Rolex for some models, so it's cool when brands like AP make possible to switch for almost every model, even the SS diver, that's really cool

God I love this watch, for me as a 24/24, it's great and hard to find better, ultra thin, light and comfy, have mine 1 year and can't advice enough those who like it, get it guys, you'll love it, the first 3 days I thought maybe it was a mistake, getting used to the ultra thin, my first ever, plus the light wright was strange, but after it's truly the coolest 24/24 watch IMO, like I guess a 5167, 5711, AP15202 and a few others, it really is a killer daily About the white dial, as much as I prefer the white dial 5726, I much prefer the blue dial on the 5711, the white is beautiful when the blue is magical, of course it's nice but if I would get one, definitely blue |
