Although less active on this forum, I am quite active on some others. You will find, buff, that this is a fairly tight knit group of hobbyists. I count myself luck to call several members here and elsewhere friends...Mark is one of them.

I respectfully suggest that an AD is your best venue.

To the OP: the advice about doing some diligence and checking references is solid. Not only can you get great watches this way, you can make some friends along the way.

I bought an IWC 3756 from Erik Szper and an Eterna day-date chrono from FNFZ4 (Alfred); the IWC transaction was carried out via PMs and e-mails, all without a hitch; the Eterna transaction was face to face. Alfred brought the watch to my apartment for examination and then gave me a good price when I said I would buy it. Both transactions were seamless; no problems either time and I am in love with both watches. I would highly recommend both of these trusted sellers.
