It defiantly depends on the size of your wrist. I have always worn Rolex sports models in the 40mm which is my perfect size, so the 39 mm is kinda the same.
But I prefer the dial of the 15300, I think the AP logo should always be placed at 12 O'clock :)

This is the 15400 on my small wrist.
