When I got mine I whent to have a look at a sub on a ouster braclet and a dj on a jubilee and I all ways had my hart set on getting the sub but when I seen the jubilee on the as dj (1990) I changed my mind there and then that I would rather have the dj then the sub, so I would say go for the jubilee it is such a nice one to get! I wear my causle and forum and it look grate all the time!

I like these combinations best too.

I really like that dial on the smooth bezel/oyster combi, but I found it hard to read.

Depending how old you are/how good your eyes are it's probably best to double check before buying.

Good luck!

Exactly this like others have said. Since it looks like you're going with domed bezel, go with oyster. This is the best combo for a daily wear imho, and the one I went with, granted a w/ a black dial. Great choice.

I've always thought that the 36mm DJ belongs on a jubilee! It's like buying a day date not on a president bracelet.

Besides, you get the added bonus of wearing a watch with a bracelet unique to it across the whole Rolex lineup!

Here is mine

I don't have jubilee in my collection but depending on your normal dressing will be better!
I always use casual clothes so I prefer oyster or strap!

SS jubilee would also look great on a domed bezel I think. But as far as bracelets go, I'd almost always pick jubilee.

For me, fluted bezel match with jubilee and oyster bracelet (some white good models are using oyster bracelet instead of president bracelet.) For domed bezel, it is good to go with oyster bracelet.

The jubilee will show less scratches over time than the oyster. And the jubilee in my opinion looks best with the fluted bezel. Plus to me the jubilee is slightly more comfortable on the wrist. Bottom line - get the one you prefer.

Jubille all the way. I ysed to have a datejust with Jubilee and I remember how beautiful it sparkled under the sun and how comfortable it was in the wrist.

My choice was jubilee but this was also Rolex #2 after a Submariner.

As others have said, with the domed bezel, am oyster might be a better fit.

SS

Fluted

Jubilee

36mm

Daily since 1978 so I'm a little biased.

Planning to move up to the DJ 41 Rose Chocolate Jubilee in the near Future.

Jubilee definitely less sporty; oyster more 'casual'. Both really good though.
