That's a great choice. Meets all of your criteria, and happens to be my favorite 42mm Offshore. Post pics when you get it! (And some pics of your cars, too )

Yes, they are significantly inferior to AP straps. AP will custom make one for you, if you struggle with AP in the US then AP in London can do it.
