I received a couple nice gifts from my AP Boutique just today.
I'm sorry that you mistake my observations as complaints

Here you go. I just took these quickly, so I apologize for the dust and poor choice of aperture.

I also included the BLNR that I just got last week. I think the BLNR actually wears bigger than the Sub C due to the bezel color and text.

and the wrist shot! I removed 3 links and luckily got the fit I wanted. I was dreading that I may need to purchase the half link.

Sure, you’re not complaining at all.

Enjoy your new watch. It’s a beauty.

The 41mm RO can even hold it's own next to a 43mm Breitling Bentley GT!

Once the subC is gone, these two will be my main watches. First impression on wearing the RO is that it is not as comfy as the oyster bracelet. The RO bracelet has sharper edges. I think the RO bracelet looks more beautiful on the wrist than the oyster bracelet though.

Also, the RO case feels heavier than Rolex but the Rolex oyster bracelet feels heavier than the RO bracelet.

oh and my wrist measures a little over 6.75", for reference.

Also, shout out to the forum dealers! Jizeal, DavidSW, and AISwatches have all helped me with my acquisitions over the years.

From a recent conversation my understanding is that AP are considering reducing the size of the box, as seemingly they've had complaints about the size from people who use them when traveling. I love the boxes, which are superb quality in comparison to the cheap tat from Rolex - but then I just store them.

Agreed about the guarantee card design. Very much not in keeping with the brand value, and those who designed and approved it are idiots.

Those are great, and very helpful shots, gents. And the watches all look great on you.

There seems to be a fair bit of talk about the 15400 being “too big”, but these photos really put that argument to rest - and they back up my experience that the watch is a great size - and as I say that mine is wresting comfortably and inconspicuously under my shirt cuff.

I think due to the way the lugs flare on a Royal Oak, they don’t hug the wrist as well as a GMT Master or a Sub—there’s often a “gap” under the lugs, especially on smaller or rounder wrists.

But you don’t see that from a head-on perspective.

I agree, the watches look great in these pictures. The 15400st is wearable on my 6.75” wrist as well, but didn’t feel quite as comfortable as my BLNR or the 15202.

I agree with RolexZen. The somewhat flat RO lugs is what makes it feel bigger on the wrist. I do wish the lugs curved slightly more down. That 43mm Breitling for example, I am only able to pull it off because it has very curved lugs. I will do some angled shots to show wrist gap comparisons later tonight.

The RO is definite more suited to someone with a flatter wrist.
