My mother's pot roast... I can't duplicate it so instead I've become partial to english-cut short-ribs. For years I did the slow braise 3-4 hours in the oven, but frankly I'm more partial to a pressure cooker version I do with the same ingredients that's ready in an hour. that and my garlic mashed is a meal fit for modest king!!
