Both the watches you mentioned are obviously sporty, but I think the OP is a little more refined.

I'd also consider a 36mm DJ with a fluted bezel. My wife loves hers. But most importantly, I'd try to get a better idea of which she'd want before you make a move.

This is a lovely datejust l. Perhaps would be even more fancy if the bracelet is jubilee

I was thinking explorer I or oyster perpetual, I like the 39mm size on her as she has sported my 14060 in the past and it looks good. DavidSW has a nice assortment of both. I have a difficult time choosing for myself let alone her!
Why buying from gray if you can source these models from AD in neighboring state, ship it to your address and save on taxes? You may even negotiate some discount on this Explorer or OP. Moreover, you'll establish good relationship with this AD. Good luck with your purchase whatever you decide and hope your wife will like it.

TRF wasn’t a porn site in 2008 nor is it one now. Men AND women come here to share a passion of watches.

10-4. No worries. At least we can all agree that both in 2008 and 2018 our Rolex and non-Rolex are gender neutral.

I'm sure having her look in an AD is best, but then again they may not have the piece that would be her dream the day she is there. I'd love to see the Grape OP on a gal in either size. Such a cool new reference, but it sounds like you found a winner. Congrats on the 115200!

OP, DJ, ND Sub all would be great.

My daughter loves her Milgauss, and my wife lives her SD. Just some alternatives to consider.

Hey all, I bought my wife a NIB Oyster perpetual date white stick dial (34mm).

Combining our 10 year and Christmas into this gift. We have spent a lot of money on the move on furniture etc...

Bought from a local jeweler who I have a personal relationship with but lost his Rolex contract a few years ago. He gets Rolex’s from time to time and he got this one NIB and still stickered. Happy to support local businesses whenever possible.
