I wasn’t even going to respond to this post, but out of interest to correct a misconception this pic says it all. It’s all in how you wear it.
Classy as it gets. Here’s mine with a blue suit heading to the office.

Maybe this will help the OP. This passage from a scroll, recently unearthed while putting in a McDonalds just down the street from the new embassy in Jerusalem.

"And Samuel said from God. Consider the tale of two men at a bar. One in a ted baker shirt unbuttoned to his chest, wearing ripped jeans. And several David Yurman Bracelets. Upon his wrist shall be clasped a 116613 Submariner. And ye shall know him by his shouting at a waitress and bragging of his sloats, goats, sheep and olive groves...

But consider the other man. Dressed in chinos, and a blue or white pinpoint button down and Alden loafers. He is polite, reserved but friendly, yet clasped to his wrist is also the same watch as the douchey man. Yet doucheyness shall not be visited upon this man, for his manners are pleasing to his bretheren.

And his brethren will say of this man, there goes a righteous dude. While the first man shall be judged a "effing douchebag for all his days.

They never come back to even try to explain themselves, except the drive by 2nd post to throw a bigger wrench ( religion) in on top of the train wreck.

Maybe today’s sermon should be “Judge ye not lest ye be judged”.

The owner of the company I last worked for owns one. And he certainly isn't a douche. I think "douchey" would refer more to the person wearing the watch than the watch itself.

For example: I can be a complete and utter douchebag myself, and I wear a Rolex!

"The term "douchebag" generally refers to a male with a certain combination of obnoxious characteristics related to attitude, social ineptitude, public behavior, ..."

Cheers,
Carl

It is quite ostentatious, but not douchey. In my mind, it conjures up Sopranos characters wearing the watch. To each his own.

Any watch can be douchey depending on the person wearing it.
