Just got mine today. Cleaned some jewelry already, works great....

But just to be clear, you guys are using this only on the bracelet?

Ive seen a couple threads where people are doing whole watches, and most do bracelet only. I'm too scared to follow a couple people's lead and try a whole watch.

What say you? lol.

In other threads several members have warned not to put the watchhead in an ultrasonic cleaner. I believe it was the vibration but mostly made a note to self to only use ultrasonic on the bracelets.

Yes, just the bracelet is going in the ultrasonic cleaner. I think mine came with a little bridge that would, in theory, keep the head above the water line, but I would never use that as it still would expose the head to harmful vibrations.

It might move the lubricants all over the place inside the watch.

Oh thanks. Never knew that. Good job I never bought one as I would’ve put the whole watch in!

This has been my trusted friend for 10+ years now. I use it once a year for everything and really turn the heat function up. My jewelry doesn't get that dirty but the wife's is a different story.

Yes. Why not put the whole watch?

People here work too hard to clean watches. Ivory bar soap. Tap water. Princes totally clean .easy, fast, cheap.
