An easy decision to go with the Tudor GMT for me. GMT complication is useful and the Omega is an ugly yet somehow at the same time trying too hard watch. Especially that wart; just hideous imo.

Unfortunately I don’t think I can be of much help to you. Decided to have both in the collection. They are so different and serve different needs. Glad I don’t have to choose. If I was forced to keep one...probably Tudor... maybe Omega if you ask me tomorrow.

Like the GMT functionality and Pepsi looks, dislike the case thickness. White dial Seamaster is good. Although I don't really like the bracelet. Overall, probably, the Seamaster.

Don't you wish they would make that Seamaster into a white faced GMT. It would be no question then, and they would take a lot of money from a lot of us here.

Of these two and my money I would take the Tudor... Both are great watches though.

Coin flip for me. My choice could change day to day. There's features I really like with both.

Two very different watches that serve different purposes. I think the GMT is the more useful feature because you can still use the bezel for timing purposes and you can still swim or dive with the Tudor. Can't say the same the other way around.

The Tudor bracelet in my opinion is superior to Omega's bracelet (and I have both). The Omega is the more upscale watch with better materials and the Tudor is the more tool watch of the two.

In terms of looks I prefer the Tudor. It keeps things simple and just does it perfectly. My pick between those two is the Tudor.

Beautiful pics!

OP, there is your answer...both. Hey, you said 'very small collection' so I'll just go ahead and say you don't need to choose.

As a bonus, if you get the GMT on leather, you take the lack of adjustment in the clasp out of play.

Between those two, the SMP. If you want a white dial GMT watch in same price point, look for a mint discontinued Omega 2538.20.00 aka The Great White Shark.

On rubber strap.

Omega. The Tudor GMT is too thick for me.

I have the Blue SMP and it's pretty fantastic. It's become my go to as my daily.

The movement, ceramic bezel, ceramic dial, exhibition case back, bracelet etc are a step above the Tudor in my opinion.

I'd go Tudor because of the GMT complication. My favorite.

Omega. I Like the GMT, but haven’t been able to commit because of the date issue.

I like the SMP, really well made piece and the contrasting dial and bezel colours are a nice touch on this and the grey/blue.

Looking at their legacy I'd vote for the Tudor. Omega has lost itself on the SMP by making too many of them, special editions, countless variants that come in and out their catalogue like women in a nightclub. Queen or the party one day, forgotten tomorrow...

Tudor (or Rolex) with the BB on the contrary, carefully decides which model to issue and to which story of the brand it relates to. That BB GMT has so many articles about it. It will be remembered long after they discontinue it.
It just fits better in the history of Horology and in a collection.
