This is what I am thinking as well. My only concern is being too concerned about babying it. I don't want to wear a watch that I am worried about getting dings and scratches all of the time.

Last question, does this model come with a cerachrom bezel and bracelet? I've seen it with the black bezel but only on a rubber strap which I'm not a fan of.
As of today, the only PM model you can buy with a Cerachrom bezel and PM bracelet is the Platona. But who knows? We may see a change at Basel this year.

I’m curious as to why you aren’t a fan of the Oysterflex strap. Are you just looking for the feel/heft of full PM?

I’ve always just liked oyster bracelets for sports models.

TBH, if you're holding yourself to a one watch standard (and there's certainly nothing wrong with that), the steel is awfully hard to beat. It's one of, if not the most, desired watches on the planet.

If you were adding that beauty to your steel, I would say full speed ahead, but...in today's times, there is no way I would ever do that trade.

And...while I love that particular dial configuration, any metal bezel Daytona is going to do two things: scratch like a MF, and wear a little small. I say hold tight for better times.

Yellow Gold... always. I have been salivating at the thought of a YG YMii but like someone else mentioned, I would have to get an AP.

I've noticed your bezel is a later version versus the one I pictured. What year did this change occur?

The one from your post is a 116528. The one pictured with new bezel is the 116508.
