Definitely leave as is! It ads personality, let alone it would detract from the price to "fix" it.

x2, tho I'm no expert, but only you..(and us)..would know of it.
When worn, most people would probably not notice it either..

Just forget about it and becareful when you or your watchmaker open it again, it may chip again somewhere else....

I bought the watch with that defect. If my watchmaker had done it, I would have killed him

When you're wearing it I bet you hardly notice it. I am pretty sure that anyone who sees your watch will not notice it either. But if it bothers you then look at getting it restored.

Agreed here. If we assume that the chip was caused by someone who made a boo boo during the process of servicing then fixing it wouldn't be mis-representing the dial IMO it would be just rectifying a mistake that was made.

That chip looks fortunate in that it literally follows the SWISS - T <25 perfectly without cutting into it. Finding the right person to do this will be crucial though.

the chip is produced by a bad watchmaker. If I restore I have to be sure that it will be perfect. otherwise I will not do anything
