The SA’s at my AD are all knowledgable about Rolex and most are all around watch nerds as well. I believe their RolexUSA reps teases them at time but new releases are always kept under pretty good wraps historically.

Enough this kind of hype and rumors. I assume most of us are grown adults, can we just be a bit patient and wait until September 1. You could've guessed right or you could be wrong.

Speculation just creates a ton of excitement for a whole lot of nothing. With Rolex, most individuals are usually 99% incorrect (other than standard movement "updates").

"My AD said"... "My SA said"... they don't know squat until Rolex HQ tells them and its usually the day of +/- 24 hours.

My AD said "THE"... do you know what that means? Must be a blue Sub. They said a word?! OMG! Must be exactly what I wanted in my mind...

I see what this thread has turned into.... i was there with my gf so no, she was not flirting with me.

Furthermore she is a watch nerd and was genuinely excited. In any case, they had the blue bay in stock two weeks before release. I would not be surprised if they have the new subs in as well.

Exactly how many times did she blink while saying this? It's very important to count the number of blinks, as this is how the Rolex SAs are trained to tip their favorite clients off to certain pieces of news...

That would still make it the 'blue submariner or 116610LB/126610LB' as far as I'm concerned. You kiddies can call it whatever you please.

You’re a day late and a dollar short. While I abhor nick names, this one would more aptly fit the YM2 w blue dial.
A blue Sub could have a simple nick name like the SSLB.

This has been my experience as well. Maybe I just haven't been in the right AD, but I'm almost always helped by what seems like the ear ring specialist or something because they don't know watches. I find it comical when something thinks a sales person has the inside scoop from tight lipped Rolex - hilarious.

Rolex have already named it the "Blue Man" after the group in NYC.

I agree with the above. My SA did not know you could put Oysterflex bracelets on the 500LN (or any other watch) or the super jubilee on the Daytona. Actually took pictures of it when I had the watches on (separate occasions).

I asked him what about the YM42 OF straps for the SS Sky-D as they I believe have the same lug width. He didn't have any in stock for me to test out, hopefully when I go in next he will have extras for me to try.

My guess, the teaser is a Sub with blue dial, and they are showing the lumed triangle at 12 o’clock. So I’m with you

If it’s indeed blue, we need to call it, “Little Smurf.”
