If you're not traveling with at least 2 watches, are you even really going anywhere?

This 2-watch case travels with me everywhere.

I have the Filson waxed canvas bag in medium, I believe? I really like it. Simple, rugged, can't really break. My only complaint is of the shoulder strap though. Feels too narrow and can dig in a bit.

For a true weekend getaway I'll usually just bring my saddleback briefcase. That's one of my favorite all-time purchases. I can put a few pairs of jeans, shirts, laptop and bag for toiletries. Great for a weekend trip to the cabin.

Filson’s rugged twill medium duffle. But in leather. Pretty sure it is bomb proof.

Wow, size 55 keepall and 3 watch roll for a weekender? We need to see pictures of some of your weekend getaways, they sound epic!

I have a custom keepall 45 that is my weekend bag. I'll just throw a casebudi in there for an extra watch. Next time I travel I will probably pick up a 50 as well since you do have to pack the 45 pretty tight.

My inexpensive yet bulletproof Fossil leather weekender has traveled the globe with me and has developed a beautiful patina over the years/ miles.

Thanks for all the replies, gents! All this weekender talk is getting me even more excited for our upcoming long weekend in Maine.

Probably won't be taking my bag along though - 4 days is a bit too long for it!

Been using a Tumi in the black ballistic material for years now - it's the perfect weekend bag with plenty of storage compartments and even a separate area for shoes. Zippers are super sturdy and the bag looks new after years of use.

I really do like the functionality of all the Tumi products. I just wished they had more options in brown.

No doubt weight maybe drawback with Saddleback Leather Bags however for me durability and guarantee are much more attractive. No zippers and the way the make their bags helps to prevent any issues. Besides if weight were that big of an issue you could always go another route and get something on wheels.

I absolutely love the Satchel and Page Weekender. It gets a lot of compliments when I travel and it just looks classy. Great quality leather with a lot durability, and it is just sexy.

Weight generally wouldn't be, except for a laptop satchel... with my laptop, charger, hard drives, usually a camera or two, film, etc. that adds up on the shoulder trudging through airports while also pulling wheeled luggage and usually another video camera bag, not to mention daily use to and from the office.

Agreed, been there done that with the exception of the camera equipment. At the time I used a Swiss Made Laptop Bag or Wenger Business Trolley Patriot which had wheels but still fit on the top of my carry on. Worked pretty good as a combination and then separately and no lugging around, just wheeling.

Great picture, you convinced me. Besides I just looked at this again and it has a Life Time Warranty as well.

I love this one and their story... very supple leather, best zippers and just a smart weekender bag all around.

Weekender bag

Got this on sale for $25. 40L fits all we need for 3 day weekend getaways. Folds into a compact bag which makes it easy to stuff in the luggage for international travel. We toss it in the washer and air dry every once in a while if it starts getting dirty. 2 years of abuse and going strong.

Actually it was mentioned here in another thread awhile ago and I've been considering getting one ever since but thanks to your picture I finally decided to pull the trigger. Thanks again.

I'm at work so I can't go look at my bag and get the name (I don't remember much) or take a picture. I do know that I bought it over 30 years ago at an outlet mall - it had a visual defect in the leather, so I saved like 50%.

It just goes to show you that you buy something of good quality once. The cheap stuff you buy over and over again.

Nice bags guys and gals!
