Good thread. I have decided I'm interested in a Speedy, leather, Hesalite. I called my AD and they have one in stock. I've never tried one on so I will have to see when I can get up there.

OP, what are your initial impressions? How large does it wear?

Congratulazione specially with 20% off! AD/boutique doesnt normally give discount specially with speedy so consider your self lucky. People are trying to get this one with cal 1861 mvt since omega will discont this model soon.

Congrats! I also just got my Hesalite Speedy last week and loving it. Not going to lie, I think am enjoying the Speedy more than my Daytona as an every day watch. It’s so versatile with the strap changes.

Congrats!

To the question earlier about how does it wear, the speedy wears much smaller than its suggested 42mm size. I'd say wears more like a 40.

Congratulations! I've been wearing mine for the last week or so, had it for over a year, just love this watch to bits. One odd thing about the exact variant you've chosen, which I also have. This is a 20mm to 16mm tapered strap. Unfortunately, Omega doesn't make any other straps in this configuration. I ended up biting the bullet and purchasing an 18mm Omega deployant in brushed stainless steel as there are a plethora of 20mm to 18mm straps in the Omega catalogue, and of course you could go non-OEM or bespoke down the road. This watch can go with virtually any strap, and it's a fun way to mix up the look.

Enjoy, my new moonwatch recently purchased is getting a lot more wrist time than my other watches

Initial impressions are great. Love looking at it and extremely high quality.

As far as size, I don't have much to compare it to, but I'd say it wears a bit smaller, probably closer to 40mm.

Congrats. Great pic up. New models are getting harder to find these days and pre-owned are selling at much higher prices making them not the bargain they were just a year ago. You were fortunate to get a discount. None of my ADs had any in stock. Anyway, I ordered my Hesalite Speedy directly from Omega. Considered a trusted TRF seller but, frankly, they are so close in price now to MSRP (due to the decreased availability) that I’d rather get the full Omega warranty. It’s on the way
