I mean a new Submariner model..... not a new Submariner generation

A new Smurf for example...

Of course the teaser could refer to a new Explorer reference as many have predicted

I just do not see an all brushed Oyster on a GMT...

Will be interesting if true. Not sure that change would alter the demand for the GMT.

NFW. GMT’s had their refreshes and new variations two years in a row, 2018-2019. GMT’s will be static for awhile, the teaser video indicates an Explorer to almost every other person who has seen it.

True.... I was wrong

I just watched the teaser video - from the side profile shot it's clearly a new Explorer II guys

With cyclops as you can see.... so not a 41mm Explorer I....?

I understand. I'm just saying that they wouldn't make an identical looking watch in SS. Rolex always have unique indicators to identify models, and SS Pepsi on Oyster would basically be indistinguishable to the WG/black dial variant.

Well that would sure shake up the GMT aficionados, but it does look like a come on for a new Explorer version.

I mean, the teaser is called “New Watches.” No reason it can’t be both a new Explorer and a tweaked GMT.

I love the Jubilee bracelet on the BLRO. I would not like it if it had an oyster bracelet with polished center links. Now, if they come out with a brushed oyster bracelet, I may lobby for one of them.

Yeah, like that’s really gonna help my cause! I’m still waiting for my 40mm Explorer II, I’m still on the waiting list! Yup...

I think the bracelet is for the new Explore II. The GMT bracelet is not brushed.

it's clearly the Explorer because of the shots of the mountain range and the guy spelunking

there was NEVER mention of "41mm" until days before when we all started seeing leaks. everyone already predicted the sub coming jsut like the explorer 2... and even with those leaks he never mentioned 41mm until the end

According to Marc Goldberg, both the Batgirl and Pepsi are to come in Oyster bracelet only and the jubilee will be discontinued.

He predicted the 41mm Sub spot on last year so should be taken seriously me thinks.

If it were to be true, do you think the prices pf those reference skyrocket, considering the relatively short production span of 3 years?

In fact that's what happened last year. The teaser was for two watches!

Big no if they put out a GMT on oyster for me. Part of what set the new GMT’s apart from the rest of the sports collection is the jubilee. It would still be a great watch, but it would lose some of its charm for me.

I think that is the bracelet for the new Milgauss

But why show the clasp for an Exp II? I reckon it must be for a different watch...but I doubt GMT going back to oyster so soon.

I love my BLRO on the jubilee but occasionally I like to wear it with the brushed 97200 bracelet from by sub. I think the brushed bracelet gives it a more sporty look for a change-up from time to time.

Can’t see Pepsi on oyster. Getting too close to WG and that would not happen as that would piss off a fair quantity of the existing WG Pepsi owners (original black or current blue dial). Would be poor form
So, current WG Pepsi owners would be upset because now it would look like they own a mere steel Rolex? They should own WG for themselves, not to impress a stranger that they can afford more than a steel Rolex. They should get over it.

IF this is true - what will happen with resale on the current jubilees?
