only got a shot in the background. She has absolutely tiny wrists. But pretty manageable. Almost cut the strap all the way down

The green is nice but what is that contraption on the right - the brown thing?

They’re Swiss. They have ultra-specific tools with reference numbers and cross-referenced service manual instructions for just about everything.

This is how it looks like on my wife's petite wrist. Slight overhang but still manageable.

This is a display piece and availability is only for existing Patek customer with unknown waiting time. 20210627_152311.jpg

Looks big if only it had no diamonds and then us men could wear it or would any many on here wear it? Maybe if it had baguettes it would be more masculine

If it had the mechanical movement from the 5167 I think many people would wear it. The watch is great design wise but the fact that it’s rocking a quartz movement without a display case back would make it difficult to justify the price Patek is charging for these.

Was lucky to pick this up for my wife.
Here’s her 5067 for comparison.

Recently discussed a couple of these with my AD. Lot of pluses and minuses. One minus to the quartz is the apparent downtime every few years sending it to PP to get a battery and the SEVERAL months that it takes to do that. I guess you just need to be ready to go without it for several months every couple years.

Last time i had a quartz the watch store changed the battery in 10 mins. This is obviously a very different approach.

Others here probably have some first hand experience if this is accurate.

My wife wants the white one but my AD said he’s unsure when they will have one available (for me, at least).
For a stainless Aquanaut with diamonds, $20k MSRP seems reasonable for a Patek, but I wish it weren’t quartz.
Why couldn’t they have just made it time only and/or used a mechanical movement?

A very competent watchmaker can easily change this battery in a the time it takes to run-out and get a cup of coffee.
