Nice watch and the more you wear it the more it will become part of who you are. I mean that in a positive way. Get the watch insured, Hodinkee is the easiest and does not require an apprasial and is backed by Chubb. Enjoy.

Spectacular GMT! Congrats and welcome to TRF. Wear the watch. Enjoy it. People don't notice watches as much as you think. My buddy has the same reference and wears it flying, hunting, fishing, etc. It is a robust watch made for the rigors of everyday use. I rarely take my GMT off my wrist while on the road for airline trips. It's oh so comfortable. The longer you have it the less you will notice you are wearing a truly superb timepiece!

nice story, yes to getting it insured. you said you really never wore a watch and then you started to. Most here grew up wearing one. once you start wearing one, time will pass and then you just forget you have a watch and you start looking at what time or date it is...but now it makes you smile...

Thanks for all the positive posts. I am getting more used to wearing it. Unfortunately, wearing a watch like this at work isn't an option so it will have to be the weekend/date night option.
