When you're at these people's financial level, money is totally fictitious. They can buy anything at anytime. Glad Messi is wearing something that he appreciates. Just like Bill Gates, he daily driver is a $40 Casio diver on a rubber strap.

Ugh yeah Sampras v Agassi was great for a year or two but is almost incomparable to Federer v Nadal v Djokovic.

The sustained excellence of these 3 just trumps the short lived Agassi v Sampras

Do you think he knows it’s super difficult to get it at AD. He probably thinks it’s just available for anyone to purchase.

I think he’s used to getting special treatment everywhere he goes. So he might see empty shelves but doubt he’ll realize how many hoops people have to jump thru to get one of these at retail.

Why does some people believe that if you have mega buck$ you must always wear the most expensive and drive the most expensive vehicles to showcase your wealth to feed your ego.
Real life and real money doesn’t work that way.

Agreed. As mentioned above, Bill Gates who is one of the wealthiest people alive wears a $40 Casio diver as his daily.

Leave it for the athletes and wannabe celebrities to buy the tacky iced out watches and jewelry. We all know they will go broke after a few years.

I think the watch industry benefited more than anyone can imagine from all celebrities and athletes showing off these watches on social media. I’m not sure what u have against any athlete being photographed with a watch.

Footballers don't exactly have a great public image. Lots of people would prefer not to have products that are "footballerish"

Saying something is a bit of a foootballer's car / watch / haircut is pretty insulting. It's kind of shorthand for chavvy and blingy.
