I’ve been talking to them about a stainless blue dial but placed a deposit on a S&E with the blue Kari dial. Still want to add a Lange but dial color is now uncertain. Great watch and great people. Found them in my A Lang, M Grossman and Lang research. Also a fan of Garrick watches but that’s a whole other rabbit hole

Great photos. These are on my radar a bit recently.

Do they have a catalogue or Dropbox or similar showing the different options colour and customisation wise?

@jocke any wrist shot, especially down the wrist. Trying to gauge thickness and case shape.

11.3mm is a little thicker that I normally like preferring a sub 10mm usually.

Broken link is my fault. Long story short, planned a group buy, yet my Muse... so went ahead and reserved the piece instead of waiting (love you guys, yet the choice of waiting on you guys and decisions and choices... and my Muse who i can not stress highly enough, she very much KNEW what she wanted.... She'll win EVERY time... sorry not sorry).

Happy Wife
Happy Life

PLEASE do a group buy or just spec and get what YOU desire.

He's already booked out until Q4 this year, maybe Q1 2023 if two of my friends acted fast. A very talented and accomplished concert / orchestra pianist i hung out with last night is probably getting a custom Laine too.

You will love the S&E blue Kari dial . Mine is #45. I also have a green Kari dial, exclusive series, 1 of 8. Loving both pieces.

I really think Laine piece is of amazing value at the price point. It is beautiful. The dial and finishes at 10k CHF is telling Grönefeld to stop raising the price. lol.20220128_113939.jpg20220128_113844.jpg20220216_095511.jpg20220216_095521.jpg

Which model is this (the one photographed in the original post)? I can’t seem to find it on their site.

I just put in my order for a blue GG3. Torsti gave me an ETA of Q3 rather than the expected Q4.

Congrats!!!

(Humor and truth) Hrumph! So basically everyone including my Muse is getting something special before my MB&F LM101 Willy Wonka arrives in 2023.

I'm getting two before you.

The Willy Wonka is worth the wait though.

Both of those are stunning. Thanks for sharing. I've started noticing a lot of Kari Dial watches out there in small runs from different makers but S&E is really unique.

Thanks. Yes, that is one thing quite unique about Kari. He loves to collaborate with other well known watchmakers or manufacturers. Armin Strom, Grönefeld are examples. I think this particular collab is just so interestingly unique - SE for the movement ( they even manufacture hairsprings for 100 years) and Kari for the dial and finishing of the movement.

I received my Laine V38 today. It’s salmon, triple guilloche, blued hands, rhodium numerals, blue dots. I ordered in February. I am quite pleased.
