i want my *luxury* watch manufacturer stubborn, elitist and ultimately unpredictable.

last thing i want them to do is listening to 'the man on the street', for real.

i also would not purchase art from an artist who conducts polls to get a feel for what people want to see...

OP, please take my post tongue in cheek. Sounds like the classic banking joke about how if you owe 100k, you have a problem. But if you owe 10M, then the bank branch president has a problem and if you owe 1B, then the bank has a problem.

With AP, it feels like if you own 0 or 1 watch, no one is going to listen. If you own a few, then the boutique manager will listen (and you have their number). If you won two handfuls, then an executive will listen (and you probably have their number), and if you own all the hot pieces, then the CEO will listen and you probably have their number.

No doubt the current climate is frustrating and you probably have a very serious collection across multiple brands. I doubt the wizard of oz will appear from behind the curtains because of a TRF post, but if they do, sincerely best of luck and hopefully tapping the red slippers will fix the problem for you.

Just one watch short! But seriously, I have no insight. My SA is coaching me through de-consumerism and appreciating what I already have as the official sales line for queue management.

I have 4, I get to talk to the boutique manager who tells me that "some time and a lot of patience" is what I need

But seriously, what else could they do? They do not just have more requests than watches, it's quite likely that the number of customers with multiple watches requesting another one exceeds APs total annual production.
