Gorgeous, I have the 216 polar but prefer your 226. I did score a NOS 216 in Black Friday (prefer the ghost hands) so gotta hold out for a new polar now. Enjoy.

Curious what you prefer about the 226 polar vs the 216? I own the 216 polar and have unfortunately been unable to find the new reference to try on and compare to my current watch. Think it’s worth upgrading to if the opportunity presents itself?

I really like the new matte hands, I tried the 226 black on on Friday and although I loved the case and bracelet I preferred the 216 ghost hands, had it’d been the polar, as much as I love mine, I would have gone for that.

They are both fantastic references but imo 216 black and 226 polar.

Really friendly boutique manager Bob.
Asked for it specifically and said yes he’s just had one in.

Straight up no BS (a bit like the watch). First come first serve.
Tried to open communication for further purchases in the future, outright said no, first come first serve. All stickers removed and no watchmaker to remove the links. Now time to visit my regular AD (who’s kept me waiting 18 months for this piece) to see if he’ll oblige.

Nonetheless time for me to enjoy what will be my dress down travel watch.

That’s fantastic! My daughter was just there too! Congratulations!

I agree that the matte hands look incredible! Wish that they’d made the orange GMT hand matte as well though. It comes off as a bit unbalanced to me, at least in pictures. I’m sure in person I’d probably love it and be tempted to upgrade on the spot!

Congratulations!

You'll see, it is difficult to take it off your wrist. It is that satisfying and easy to wear.

I really like the result of the changes Rolex introduced to the polar with the 226.
