I’d go motif or plain with oyster/ smooth or plain with jubilee/ fluted.

Busy is an understatement. Motif/ fluted/ jubilee as a combination reminds me of one of those pictures you look at and the room starts spinning when you look away.

If you plan on holding onto the watch, then the plain dial; I suspect in a number of years the motif dial will look dated. I do prefer that dial, however.

I requested the motif last week and was offered this one a few days ago.

It was an easy YES from me! It’s really beautiful.

I’d say take whichever is offered first.

Fluted Mint

My daughter just purchased the fluted mint, I think over time just as the “palm” it will hold its value and it sets you apart from the normal viewing. Just a beautiful time piece.

I had the same dilemma recently for the wonderful mint green color dial but ultimately went with plain (adding my name to waiting list) as I prefer the way the light plays with the sun ray finish. Some might view the DJ41 with the jubilee/fluted/motif as too busy overall but each person has to decide what clicks with them. There's a DJ combo for everyone. Seems like mint green is the hot DJ color. Blue motif might be nice too. Hope your wait is not too long. Cheers!

I like the plain dial if you’re going with a fluted bezel and jubilee dial.

If it’s a plain bezel with oyster bracelet, then motif.

Tough call. I really like the motif dials, but the “plain” dials are easier to read. The DJ with the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet is pretty blingy as it is. I vote plain - that mint green has grown on me. Like a moss.

I have the plain mint green on fluted and oyster. It’s a great combo.

Theu probably are discontinuing the Fluted dial because they are are tired of people calling it a motif.
