Several Rolex AD at KL, you can start there and good luck.

You are peaking way too early.

I couldn't even afford fuel for my car at 18.

Just focus on life priorities first. The time will come after hard work. For most it never comes, so deal with what you manage. A submariner is not a life goal.

Too young to buy a Rolex. Focus on the important stuff first. Leave the luxuries for later.

If this is a thing here, have pity on me and someone please send me a new Rolex sport model. I'm not picky, but prefer something in the 40mm case size. Worth a shot...

To be honest, Rolex is not for everyone. At your age, focus on school and invest the money on a ROTH IRA and the stock market.

But put your name on an AD list, so you will get the call before you retire.

Buy good stock and when it goes up sell it. If it don't go up, don't buy it.

In all seriousness If you can save buy it and not alter your lifestyle do it. Have a strong financial foundation. I didn't buy my first Rolex till 35, I wanted it tied to a certain point in life/aspirations.

I would wait until at least graduation to buy my first Rolex. I was a sneakerhead in college and having several pairs of jordans in my room, even when locked, made me somewhat nervous. A Rolex would have made those nerves even worse anytime i wasn’t wearing it. Life does come at you quick especially after college and not having all of your money tied up in illiquid objects is helpful. I didn’t get my first Rolex until I was 31 and life had kicked me in the teeth a few times. I’m of the mindset, if you can’t buy it twice you can’t afford it.

At your time of life, there are (or should be) many more priorities other than a Rolex. Save the watch purchase for a special occasion, like becoming debt-free. There will be many milestones in your life where the acquisition of a Rolex is a happy event. Have patience and enjoy the ride.

We're bored, everyone is getting 'the call', system getting back to normal.

My day's been very busy reporting on luxury audio goodies, how's your day going?

Drugs. The obvious answer is to start selling drugs. Don’t get hooked on your own product and you should do fine.

delay gratification. invest, focus on college, graduate, get a good job / start your own business, work like hell, then enjoy.

The money invest / time you now will get you a lot further than a luxury item by the time you are ready to be spoiled.

I agree with this.

Your college years are the best of your life (overall) as you have few responsibilities and don't yet realise how messed up the world is

Do some traveling, partying, get laid, experiment to figure out who you are, maybe even do a masters degree... then you can get a job and quite quickly afford a nice watch.

I spent many wild years doing crazy things (e.g. learned how to shoot a gun in North Korea, got lost in Russia, lived in a desert for a month, was held hostage, did a ton of hook ups and made lots of mistakes...) and the experience and memories are infinitely more valuable than any of my watches.

Enjoy your youth and focus on buying a watch when you're older and need an excuse to spend your money on something.

I'm sorry, but if the headline of your resume is being a college student, I can only assume that you don't have income or high income that isn't inherited, and that you are incurring hundreds of thousands in student loans. At least that would be the case in the US. If your situation have any resemblance of this the only Rolex you buy is the one you give to your parents for getting you this far. I hope I'm wrong to assume.

Hierarchy of spending priorities is that many things trump a Rolex watch, as much as we all enjoy them.
