After a year wearing the mega fat-font insert - shown in the first post which started this indulgent thread - I've just put the original faded insert back on the Gilt 1675, for another change. I love this 'denim/copper' insert, and feel it really belongs on the watch, much as I still love the mega fat one. Many Gilt GMTs I've seen from the same period sport similar inserts, in terms of font and colour fade, and the warmth with the gold lettering is very pleasing. Cheers, K

Agree, Karl.
That insert is fantastic, too.
I've got 2 very similar inserts to yours in my collection.
Love them both on my 1675 gilt.

I think a beauty like your 1675 can "wear" nearly everything

Here are these 2 of my inserts (mounted on my 1675GiLt)...

1. MFF

2. FF

Beautiful GMTs, my fellow addicts. Hopefully soon I'll be in your gratuitous gilt gmt club (GGGC) ! For now it's just my trusty birth year GWSD ☺

And the matched color scheme between the strap the insert, hour markers and hands is just out of control!
